Management and operation of architectural practice specializing in general architectural practice, project management, master planning, roofing and waterproofing. Duties include client contact, project programming, design, cost estimating, scheduling, contract negotiations, construction administration, property inspection and evaluation, specification writing, code analysis, and other related activities.
Recent work includes Architectural services and/or management of construction projects in excess of $60 million; design and administration of approximately $40 million in architectural projects; inspection and assessment of regional retail, business, and residential developments valued in excess of $120 million to formulate recommendations to owner/prospective purchasers for needed capital improvements. Other responsibilities include negotiations with national retail and commercial groups, municipal bodies, regulatory agencies, and representatives of major real estate portfolios in dealing with architects, engineers, contractors, tenants, lenders, attorneys, and others.

Responsible for coordination and administration of all construction related projects at over 15 million square feet of retail and commercial space throughout Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.
Authored tenant construction criteria; managed all tenant coordination; capital improvements, and construction; produced due-diligence reports on all prospective acquisitions; coordinated programming, budgeting, A/E and contract correlation, and regulatory agency approvals; negotiated contracts, reviewed leases, and managed dispute resolution. Project manager for renovations and additions at several regional malls, producing millions of dollars in savings through diligent contract administration and documentation.

As the only registered professional for the New Orleans Aviation Board Office of Project Management, was responsible for administration of over $100 million in airport capital improvements projects. Participated as project representative with the New Orleans Aviation Board Construction Committee, advising on job coordination, scheduling, and disbursement of funds. Evaluated programming, detailing, and placement of work; steered the production efforts of architects, engineers, and contractors; conducted progress meetings; developed construction reports to the Aviation Board; and coordinated project requirements with the F.A.A., national airline representatives, airport security, and the City of New Orleans.
