Lachin ♦ Oubré is the recent merger of two architectural offices, Lachin and Oubre, each active for over 50 years throughout the Gulf Coast Region.

The Lachin Family has been providing design and architectural services to the New Orleans area and surrounding Gulf Coast Regions for over sixty (60) years. Michael G. Lachin, AIA has been practicing as LDL/Lachin Architects, Planners, and Project Managers for the past fifteen (15) years after having assumed responsibility for operation of the firm of John M. Lachin, Jr., Architect. LDL/Lachin, now Lachin ♦ Oubré, maintains a wide range of private, public, and institutional clientele. The firm has been responsible for the successful delivery of numerous project types with specialization in Retail, Health Care, and Multi-Family developments as well as master planning and project management.

Oubré Associates was founded in 1957 by James Oubré and is currently managed by Peter Fortier. Oubré Associates has been providing high-quality architectural services for over fifty (50) years. Prior to organizing Oubré Associates, Jim Oubré studied architecture abroad as a recipient of the William Kim Fellowship while completing undergraduate studies at Tulane University and his Master of Architecture at Columbia University. Mr. Fortier is a past recipient of First Place Award in the National and Contemporary Terra Cotta Competition. The Oubré firm has acheived acclaim as an award-winning architectural group in both church and health-care facilities.

Over the years Lachin ♦ Oubré & Associates has cultivated an understanding of every facet of real estate development, construction documentation, as well as contract administration.
